In 1998 an intensive study into the Sectional Title Market was carried out and the research indicated a need for a specialist insurance underwriter. The report found that the Insurance Industry was not meeting the needs of the Sectional Title Market, and the result of this study was the establishment of C-Sure Underwriting Managers in 1999, the first Sectional Title Underwriting Manager in South Africa

The Corporate Sure policy has been developed to cater for the needs of the Sectional Title & Share Block Property Market which is a specialised and complex industry.

The Corporate Sure Policy was devised by C-Sure and underwritten by Santam who have a 100% shareholding in the Company.

The Policy has specifically been designed to assist both the Broker & Managing Agent in providing first class protection for their property owners and Trustees.

The Financial Advisory & Intermediary Services Act (FAIS)

In September 2004, a new bill was introduced into the Financial Services Market called the FINANCIAL ADVISORY & INTERMEDIARY SERVICES ACT, also known as The FAIS Act.

The act attempts to put in place regulations and create professionalism within the financial sector with the aim of protecting the consumer.

The Act requires the Financial Provider to submit enough information in a simple format so the consumer can make an informed decision about which product meets their requirements.

The Act further requires the Financial Provider to be qualified to give the correct and proper advice about the financial product.

Corporate Sure is an authorized financial services provider (license no. 2712).

Compliance Officer is Intelligent Compliance & Education (Pty) Ltd (License No. 554).
